In My Mailbox #6

"In My Mailbox" is a weekly event, hosted by The Story Siren, that spotlights the books we've received.

As you can see from the above, I had a very wonderful buying week. Bonded by Blood by Laurie London has such a yummy cover. There was a blog tour for it a while ago and it's been on my wishlist since then. I've been meaning to buy On the Edge by Ilona Andrews for ages now. I am completely in love with their Kate Daniels series and wanted to read the other one. I'm super excited to read Touched by an Alien by Gini Koch. I've been reading amazing reviews for it lately because of the release of the latest book in the series. Lastly I bought Under Wraps by Hannah Jayne. I haven't heard great things about it but the summary was awesome... plus I love the cover.

I needed a little bit of dystopia in my reading diet so I picked up Inside Out by Maria V. Snyder from the library. I've read her Glass series and loved it so I really hope I enjoy this one too. I also picked up Shade by Jeri Smith-Ready.

For Review

I received The Time Machine by H.G. Wells and The Map of Time by Félix J. Palma from the publisher. It was a total surprise and I'm so excited to read them. I've read a ton of classics but The Time Machine isn't one of them. The Map of Time is an English translated release. I requested and received Trace of Fever by Lori Foster from netgalley. I recently read the first in the series and loved it. Lastly I received Elemental by Tiffany Dominguez from the author. Go read the summary, love it.

I won Quicksand and Deadlock by Iris Johansen from Bitsy Bling, wahoo thanks! I also won Pale Demon by Kim Harrison from Kelly's Lucky You. Looovee this series so a huge thank you to Kelly and the sponsor.

  1. Pity that your images seem to not be coming up, but it sounds like you've had a good week here. There are some great books in your selection.

I just recently started reading Kim Harrison's Hollows series, so I'm working my way up to Pale Demon - I hate reading books out of order in a series if I can help it.

    Happy Reading!

Huh, I wonder why the images aren't working for you. I just bought my own domain name so blogger might be having trouble while everything is getting switched over.
I hate reading books out of order too! I tend to read series in order that don't even require it; eg Hercule Poirot series by Agatha Christie.
I hope you're enjoying Harrison's series to far. They aren't my favorite books but I find Rachel's 'voice' to be very amusing.

  3. Perfect books :) I really want to read Inside Out, my friends have been still saying, that it is very wonderful book. I envy you, this books :) However, you have had really pretty books in your mailbox :) I love covers all of it :)

  4. @Stormy
I'm reading Inside Out right now actually. I've only finished chapter one but I'm loving it so far.
I like the covers too. I tend to buy books with pretty covers and hope I enjoy the book as much as the cover. :)

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment. I try to reply to each and every one as well as return the favor to fellow bloggers.
