If you didn't have a chance to fill out this interview yourself, no worries! You'll get another chance late August for Fall books.
Today we have Yiota from Splash Of Our Worlds visiting us.
A little bit about Yiota: Hmmm..i hate general talk. Let's see though...my blog, is actually our blog. There are five people writing, all totally different from each other. I'm The Overlord there (giving orders or..actually doing all the dirty job). We all have cute nicknames, and our two boys putting some role play in their reviews, which sometimes it's confusing but fun too. We do not blog only about books (thought it can be said is our main subject) but also for movies, tv series, music, games ^^ I'm pretty happy with how we work and i love how all of us replying to everyone's comments! Support ftw!
I guess that's all :P
Check out their blog or stalk her on twitter, facebook and goodreads.
Me: What is one absolute, must read for you this summer?
Yiota: Emmm..hmmm...i have no idea! I don't really pick books by season :p I really can't wait for Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. So i say, this summer get Vampire Academy books and get ready for the rest!
Me: There are tons of great looking books coming out this summer. What are some of the summer releases you're looking forward to?
Yiota: I've no idea what is coming out this summer except Bloodlines and Clockwork Prince. Those two are the one i'm waiting more. I'm usually just searching around books, without check out their release date.
Me: You've got towels, sunscreen and everything else needed for the beach but naturally left some space for a few books. Which books will you be stuffing into your beach bag?
Yiota: My e-reader which has some hundred books in. And the books i've bought but i haven't read yet which right now consist of: 4 books by Raymond Feist, Memoirs of a Geisha, Imaginarium Geographica, Ranger's Apprentice, Cold Magic, I Am Number and about 7-8 more books.
Me: When you're trying to beat the heat, reading a huge book can be a bummer to have sticking to your skin. Any novella, short story or anthology recommendations?
Yiota: You kiddin right? Big books rock, why to change it with a small one? The bigger the better!
Me: The summer is usually when the biggest blockbusters are released in theaters. Are there any (past or present) book to film adaptations you're hoping to see?
Yiota: Harry Potter and 'nuff said! I mean i grew up with this thing! It was my first book ever and now everything ends one and for all.
Me: If there's anything you want to add...
Yiota: You always mentioned at your questions sea and pools. Funny, Greece is full of them. I will probably have vacations in an island but i hate sea, pools or whatever.Last year, i didn't even set a foot on a beach :P
I will be even whiter than i was at winter.
That you Yiota for answering some questions and letting us know about some great reads!
