Uncovered: Around the World Edition

Covers are an important part of every book and often times books will have multiple covers depending on where and when it's published. To recycle some of the reviews and books I've read here on Bitten Books, I will be spotlighting the cover I had along with the covers I could have had-for better or for worse.

left to right: My Cover, Gollancz/Spanish Edition/Portuguese Edition's Cover, Audio CD's Cover, French Edition's Cover

left to right: German Edition's Cover, Indonesian Edition's Cover, Italian Edition's Cover, Hungarian Edition's Cover

left to right: Polish Edition's Cover (not pictured is it violates imagshack's terms of service?), Japanese Edition's Cover

My Thoughts: I love the bloody feather used in the French and Hungarian covers. Very cool idea and the French cover is stunning. The Japanese cover is also very beautiful. I'm so thankful that the US version doesn't have the same cover image as the audio because there's something off about her lips in that one.

left to right: My Cover, UK Edition's Cover, UK Edition's Cover

My Thoughts: I'm not really in love with any of the covers but I'm thanking my lucky stars that my cover doesn't have those creepy kids on it.
My review of The Dark City (Relic Master #1) by Catherine Fisher

left to right: My Cover, UK Edition's Cover, New US Edition's Cover, French Edition's Cover

left to right: German Edition's Cover, Portuguese Edition's Cover, Spanish Edition's Cover, Large Print Edition's Cover

left to right: Russian (I believe, goodreads is trying to claim it's English) Edition's Cover, Arabic Edition's Cover (I'm so confused, blame goodreads if this is all wrong!), Turkish Edition's Cover, Japanese Edition's Cover

My Thoughts: First off, where the hell is the special Irish/Gaelic cover?! Get on that, publishers. Love the French cover, don't care about either of the US ones. Sorry for all the cover confusion. I found the yellow cover on a Russian website but it's got the same letters as the Arabic (according to goodreads) cover that I think might actually be for her Highlander series.
