Waiting on Wednesday #11

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event hosted by Breaking the Spine that spotlights upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating.

Book: The First Time by Cyn Balog, Lauren Bjorkman, Leigh Brescia, Jennifer Brown, Kirstin Cronn-Mills, Janet Gurtler, Teri Hall, Cheryl Renee Herbsman, Stacey Jay, Heidi R. Kling, C. Lee McKenzie, Saundra Mitchell, Jenny Moss, Jackson Pearce, Shani Petroff, Carrie Ryan, Sydney Salter, Kurtis Scaletta, Jon Skovron, Kristina Springer, Rhonda Stapleton, Charity Tahmaseb, Jessica Verday, J.A. Yang, and Lara Zielin.
Expected Publication: October 2011
Summary: 25 YA authors writing about “Firsts”... first kisses, first loves, first zombie slayings, first realizations ...

Why I'm Waiting On It: This is a 2009 YA debut author anthology put together by Jessica Verday. It will be available in ebook only. I'm sooo excited for this one! It's got an amazing lineup of authors and the stories sound like they will be really interesting.

Book: Fair Game (Alpha & Omega #3) by Patricia Briggs
Expected Publication: February 7th 2012 by Ace Hardcover
Summary: When the FBI request a pack consultant on a serial killer case they're following in Boston, Anna and Charles are sent in. They quickly realize that not only the last two victims were werewolves – all of them were.
Someone is targeting their kind. And if Charles and Anna can't get to the bottom of this mystery, they may be next...

Why I'm Waiting On It: I love Anna and Charles' story. And frankly I love seeing Bran, yummy. I'm super excited for this book but I do have to admit that the last two Mercy books were a little bit of a let down for me. I hope this one maintains the quality of the previous books.

Share what you're waiting on or links to what you're waiting on in the comments and I'll be sure to check it out! I included a YA and adult pick because I couldn't pick just one.
