Back to the Books Giveaway Hop (Ends 9/7 - Int)


Welcome to my giveaway in the Back to the Books Hop! This time I'm giving away a duo of YA dragon novels. If there are a huge number of entries I will add additional winners who will receive one of the books of their choice from the duo. The prize consists of Vanish (Firelight #2) by Sophie Jordan (or the first in the series if you'd prefer) and Flying Blind (The Dragon Diaries #1) by Deborah Cooke.

    Favorite book that is set in a school that I've read recently is Dead Rules by Randy Russell. I thought it was awesome and fun to read. The cover is super pretty too.

    Squeeee!!! Sorry just had to do that. Love the books you're giving away. I am way in love with dragons, and I want to read both of those books soo bad. Thanks soo much for the giveaway!

    I had to read six books of my choice for English last year so my favorite out of those would have to be The Bride Collector by Ted Dekker. It was a super creepy read!

    My favorite that I ever read for school was Mara, Daughter of the Nile when we were studying Egypt. My favorite set in school is, at the moment, Evernight by Claudia Gray. :)

  59. I have to read spanish authors in School (in from Spain), so I'm not very sure if you know them, but I really love "Crónica de una muerte anunciada" by Gabriel García Márquez (Nobel Prize) and "El camino" by Miguel Delives. I cried a lot with them, but they are beautiful books.

  79. I haven't got a favourite book which was set in a school, per sey. Beautiful Creatures has a lot of school scenes but that is not really the main theme. And I like the Beautiful Creatures series. But that is the closest I can get to school-themed books. I've read in school? I haven't got a favourite there, at all! :)

    Anyway for university one of my favorite books was Hanry Kissinger's Dimplomacy (900+ pages) and from highschool there were two favorites - Dostojevskji Idiot and Sheakespeare, any work from him.

  111. I really can't remember a favorite book read in school. I do remember reading 1984 - can't say I was overly impressed.

    Kate Evangelista has a few chapters of a book she is writing posted on her blog - I think it's called the Coffee Bar. It looks very interesting and I would love to read the finished version. It is set at a private school.
